| OUR OBJECTIVES:

| The object of the Society is to improve the economic and social betterment and welfare of its members through the activities of the Society in general and promote and protect the interests of the Advocates in particular through mutual aid, thrift and self help in accordance with the principle of co-operation as enunciated in Section 3 of the Act. |

| ACTIVITIES & SERVICES: |
| |
| In furtherance of its objective, either by itself or in collaboration with other Co-operatives, Financial and Development Organisations, the Society will endeavour. |
| |
| a) |
To encourage and afford all facilities for cultivating thrift self-help, co-operation
among its members: |
| |
| (i) |
To raise funds required for its business through Banks, Financial Institutions, individuals/Members by way of grants, incentives, share capital deposits, short term and medium term loans; |
| (ii) |
Lend, advance, grant short-term, medium term, long term and other types of loans, to the members within the interest of the Society/Members; |

| b) |
To start co-operative stores to deal in stationery, court fees and general stamp papers and other necessary items required by the Advocates in particular; |
| |
| (i) |
to purchase the necessary infrastructure for the establishing the stores and other activities envisaged by the Society; |
| (ii) |
to purchase or receive or sale, the stationery and other materials and sell them to the best advantage of the Advocates; |

| c) |
To print, publish and deal in law books and legal journals; |
| d) |
To establish and maintain library and promote study circles,
sponsor workshops, lectures, seminars, conferences etc. which are beneficial to legal profession;

| e) |
To start and provide Provident Fund Scheme for the benefit of members; |
| f) |
To provide recreational, cultural, sports and professional allied facilities to members; |
| g) |
Formulate and implement relief, benevolent, mutual aid and welfare schemes for the economic and social betterment of the members and their families; |
| h) |
To undertake and carry out any other objects to promote the economic and professional interests of the members of the society in accordance with co- operation principals; |
| i) |
To undertake any other activity or things which promote generally the welfare of the members and their interests in accordance with the objects of the society as decided by the BOD from time to time. |
| j) |
To acquire land for providing house sites to the members and advance loans for purchase of Plots, construction of houses and to takeup development and construction works |
